Psalm 31:3 Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name, lead and guide
me..

In the book of Deuteronomy
in the Old Testament, God is telling Israel that after He hands over the land He has promised to them from way back, that
they are to set up three cities within the land. God says that they are to be called ‘Cities of Refuge.’ A place where an individual can find
safety after a crime has been committed. Justice will prevail, but under a calm spirit, not out of a revengeful type of spirit.
The Lord brought to mind that this is how Christians are to be, yet in a bigger context. I’m not saying we are not doing
this now, I’m just saying Christians are to be the ones that know what to say and do, to encourage others who are experiencing
a difficult period in their lives. The words we speak should give life, comfort, encouragement, yet never compromise the Truth
that defines a Christian. Christians are to be men and women of conviction and encouragement, after all, that is what light
does in the darkness - it shines, giving direction, hope, comfort, safety. The men and women God has put in my life have shown
this example to me, thus I have become a better man, husband, father and friend. They have strengthened me when I could not
find the strength to go on, brought comfort and encouragement into my soul, and for that I’m a better man. They taught
me to let the Holy Spirit mold me, not the world. That’s what this ministry does, it brings light into darkness –
a city of refuge as you would. It brings encouragement and hope by meeting people right where they are at in life. Front line
ministry some call it – I say it’s a way of life - I just go.
As we come into
this Christmas season, remember a Child was born, a Savior child. I pray that you all have a Merry Christmas! I thank you for your prayers and support which makes this
ministry possible. Your brother in Christ Jesus, Ponch
